let me tell you a little about myself...
up in Valley Springs and graduated from Calaveras High in 1999. I attended San
Joaquin Delta College then transferred to San Francisco State University and
finished my Bachelors Degree in Biology. I was a substitute teacher at various
sites in CUSD and also taught 7th grade life science and elementary
intervention. Eventually I started my teaching internship and taught at Toyon
Middle School for four years (Language Arts, World History,
Journalism/Yearbook) while also working towards my administrative credential
and Masters Degree in Educational Administration at University of Pacific. In
2010 I moved to Calaveras High School, teaching Biology and Student Leadership, and serving as
Assistant Principal. Later I promoted to Principal at Valley Springs Elementary until my transition to Alternative Education. I am in
the process of writing my dissertation for my Doctorate of Education. I have
made my home in Valley Springs with my wonderful husband, three children, two
dogs, and one cat. We enjoy watching and playing sports, traveling, exploring
the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. We feel very fortunate
to live in this community.
